Japanese

This website is made by one of Japanese frequent visitors

to this guest house in Ubud.

I'd like to introduce this guest house through my experience.

I hope this website will help you to decide your stay

in this guest house.

1. Family owned business

This guest house is run by a family, who has grandparents,

    parents, and their little daughters.

They were born in Ubud and have been running this business

since 1994. You can have a great experience of

" Real traditional Balinese life style ".

They also have their own "family temple" inside.

The more you visit there, the more you will relax

there as if it were your own home.

2. Modesty and  friendly

    They are doing honest business.

They always keep good distance from guests,

but they always take good care of  you.

Please let them know about your holiday plan in Bali,

then they can offer you some services.

For example, they have taxi business as well.

So if you need transportation, please let them know.

Then they can offer you a comfortable service.

Please do not do "aggresive selling" except on the main streets.

They are not very happy with "Aggresive discount negotiation"

    and delay for payment.

3. Great breakfast

As many guests mentioned in review in Booking. com.
The breakfast is tasty and they have two types of breakfast.
One is pancake and another is tasty food over the rice.
In addition, you can have some fresh fruits

and tea or coffee every   morning.

It's a female friendly guest house.

There are three daughters. (They have their own family.)
The youngest daughter runs her own B&B nearby.

What is it like staying in Bali?

(General overview)

Ubud is the centre of Balinese traditional culture.

There are many travel agencies, stores, nice restaurants

and Balinese entertainment.

Public transportation isn't  enough to move around all of Bali.

You need to "hire a taxi"or"rent a bicycle"or"rent a HONDA"

or on foot.

Be careful of heavy traffic accident and occasional heavy rain.

Local people prefer HONDA and TOYOTA to walking,

because of its climate.

There are three supermakets in Ubud, they are  Delta, Coco

and Bintan. You can get to know local daily prices there.

Local people are very friendly and helpful.

They often show their beautiful smile to you,

which  is their custom. They speak much better English

than us Japanese !

They know tourism is most important for their living.

They always mind safe stay and want to tourists

come back again.

Bali is called "Golden egg" in Indonesia.
